6 Best SuiteDash Alternatives in 2026 (and When to Stay)

SuiteDash is cheap and powerful, but heavy to set up. Here’s who should stay, and five alternatives for agencies that want a simpler client portal.

6 Best SuiteDash Alternatives in 2026 (and When to Stay)

If you landed here, SuiteDash probably did something right and something wrong. It does a lot for $19 a month. It's also a lot of software to learn before your first client logs in.

What SuiteDash gets right

Let's start with the honest part, because it's a strong product.

  • Flat pricing. Start is $19/month ($180/year), Thrive is $49/month, Pinnacle is $99/month. Every plan has unlimited clients and unlimited staff, so hiring doesn't raise your bill.
  • White-label from the cheapest plan. Custom branding and a branded installable web app are on Start.
  • It really is all-in-one. CRM, proposals, contracts and e-sign, invoicing, recurring billing, time tracking, support tickets, even a learning management system.
  • A real free trial. 14 days, no card, and it runs at the top (Pinnacle) level so you can try everything.

If you want one tool to replace your CRM, invoicing, contracts and portal, and you're willing to invest time in setup, SuiteDash is hard to beat on price.

Why people leave

The complaints are consistent across review sites:

  • It takes a while to learn. Reviewers and comparison write-ups regularly mention a long setup and a cluttered interface. SuiteDash even sells paid one-on-one sessions with certified "wizards" to help you configure it.
  • Speed. Some Capterra reviewers mention slow loading and navigation, especially with bigger data sets.
  • The good stuff is gated. Automations, onboarding flows, task dependencies and support tickets only unlock on Pinnacle ($99/month). Storage is 100 GB on Start and 500 GB on Thrive, and extra storage costs $5/month per 250 GB.
  • Too much for what you need. If you only wanted a place to share progress and files with clients, you're paying (in money and in attention) for an LMS and a community forum you'll never open.

None of that makes it a bad product. It makes it a heavy one, and heavy tools are the ones clients stop logging in to.

Who should stay on SuiteDash

Stay if you need invoicing, contracts and CRM in the same place as your portal, you're comfortable spending a few weekends on setup, and flat pricing across a growing team matters to you.

Alternatives worth looking at

Tool Best for Starting price*
Aupero Small agencies who want a simple, milestone-based client portal Free plan
Assembly (formerly Copilot) Polished, modern portals for service firms Paid; full white-label on higher tiers
Plutio Freelancers who want a flat-price all-in-one Around $19/mo
Taskip Budget all-in-one for agencies Around $12/mo (per vendor)
Agiled All-in-one with agency features Paid, see vendor
ManyRequests Productized and request-queue services Paid, per seat

*Prices change often and some sources conflict. Check each vendor's pricing page before deciding.

Aupero

Aupero is built around one idea: your clients shouldn't need training. Each project is a set of milestones, and clients see progress against them in a branded portal, along with files, forms and conversations with you. Your internal dashboard stays private. They never see it.

What it does:

  • A client portal that's separate from your agency dashboard
  • Milestone-based projects, not task boards or ticket queues
  • Intake forms and proposals for new enquiries
  • Meeting booking with Cal.com and Google Meet
  • Google Drive integration, and Linear integration on paid plans so your dev team can keep working in Linear while clients see milestone-level progress

What it doesn't do yet: it isn't a full billing and contracts suite. If invoicing and e-sign need to live in the same tool today, stay with SuiteDash or use a separate invoicing tool next to Aupero.

There's a free Starter plan, and paid plans come with a 7-day trial. That's shorter than SuiteDash's 14 days, but you don't need the trial to start using the free plan.

Assembly

Assembly (formerly Copilot) is the most polished of the group and has strong reviews for its client experience. The catch is price: the features agencies usually want, like full white-label and custom domains, sit on the higher tiers, and plans have client caps. Good if design quality of the portal is your priority and the budget is there.

Plutio

Plutio is a flat-price all-in-one for freelancers, with a portal, contracts, invoicing and time tracking. A custom domain costs extra, and the core plan limits how many active clients you can have, so check that before committing.

Taskip and Agiled

Both are cheaper all-in-ones aimed at agencies, and both publish a lot of comparison content, so read their claims about themselves with that in mind. If you want something close to SuiteDash for less, shortlist these and run a real project through each trial.

ManyRequests

Built for productized services, where clients submit requests into a queue. It's a poor fit for project work with milestones and variable scope, and per-seat pricing grows with your team.

How to choose

Ask three questions:

  1. Do you need billing and contracts in the same tool? If yes, stay with SuiteDash or look at Plutio or Taskip.
  2. Will your clients actually log in? If your clients aren't technical, pick the simplest portal you can, not the biggest.
  3. Do you deliver projects with milestones, or run a request queue? Milestones point to Aupero or Assembly. Queues point to ManyRequests.

Whatever you choose, run one real client through the trial before you migrate everything. A portal nobody opens is a more expensive way to keep sending email.
